Does Odeo work on my website hosted at Hostpoint?

Yes, as long as your website allows custom code, for example with WordPress, Joomla, TYPO3 or Contao on Hostpoint web hosting. You add one script tag as described in the guide for your CMS.

For Sites, adding custom code is not documented. If you use Sites, we are happy to clarify with you whether and how Odeo can be embedded.

Do I need to change anything at Hostpoint?

No. Odeo works independently of your hosting; you only add one line to your website. Your Hostpoint subscription and domain stay as they are.

Will Odeo slow down my Hostpoint website?

No. The script loads asynchronously and does not hold up your pages. You control which pages the chatbot appears on in the client portal.
