Do I need a Shopware plugin for Odeo?

No. Odeo is embedded with one script tag in your storefront theme. There is no Odeo plugin to install or maintain through Shopware updates.

Where does the script tag go in Shopware 6?

Into the base.html.twig template of your storefront theme, before </body>. Cleanest is your own theme that extends the default theme, so the line survives updates.

Can Odeo use data from Shopware?

Yes, with a direct connection via the Shopware Store API or Admin API, for example for availability and order status. Together we define how customers verify themselves for order information.

Will Odeo slow down my Shopware website?

No. The script loads asynchronously and does not hold up your pages. You control which pages the chatbot appears on in the client portal.
